Fractals have always fascinated mathematicians and computer scientists because despite their visual complexity they can be expressed and programmed in a very compact form.

But what about data?

In its current form (on top) the fractal is not parameterized by any known dataset. To stay true to the spirit of data art, I had the idea of using artificial intelligence (neural networks) to incorporate data from another artwork based on Twitter.

This recent technique, called “style transfer”, has never been used in this original approach (to the best of my knowledge). The result - below - this combines the story of Scientific Euphoria with the complex shape of this fractal.
